Beck says Saudi's '212, B' status
is reserved for most dangerous
Glenn Beck explained: “Derogatory information reviewed...That means, we have been presented bad information…and it was reviewed, and found to be sufficient. Subject has One (1) prior event...[That means] when they opened this when he was at the hospital, they found he’s already in the system.”
“A 212, 3B [is] the biggest warning we can put on anybody,” Beck explained for those unfamiliar with the term. “You do not put people’s name on there easily…this is a terrorist designation, and there is a panel of agencies that you have to go and make your case to. It’s not like you’re standing in the hospital room and they say: ‘Make him a 212,3B.’ And if they are, they’re abusing their power….It is so rare that somebody’s name is taken off outside of death, that none of ours sources can tell us that it’s ever happened. It is laughable what Janet Napolitano said yesterday.”
Beck's web site continues:
Certainly, a litany of questions remain.
Was Alharbi considered “armed and dangerous” before the Boston bombing, or at it? Was it related to something they found at his apartment? Was his prior “event” from the days prior, at the bombing, or was it from an earlier period in his life?
Moreover, how was he admitted into the country under a “special advisory option?” How many students receive that privilege, particularly without proper security clearance?
In Beck’s estimation, the entire situation at the least amounts to an alarming lack of transparency, and at the worst, an abuse of power and cover-up.

FEDS HAVEN'T DENIED DOCUMENT'S AUTHENTICITY
Saudi said to be an exact match
to 'NO FLY TPN# 1037506192'
If we examine statements by Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano and others about the Alharbi matter, and realize that no federal official has denied the authenticity of the documents held by Glenn Beck, we will see that Beck's view seems somewhat more plausible than those of federal officials.
If Alharbi turned out to have been an "exact match to NO FLY TPN# 1037506192," a reasonable person would conclude that Alharbi was already on the no-fly list and so there must have been some "derogatory information" other than the fact that he was grabbed fleeing the bombing scene. In fact, the document states clearly that Alharbi has one "prior event #1648067." This event cannot refer to the Boston bombings. These facts strongly suggest that Napolitano was engaging in disinformation when testifying in Congress.
It may be that the feds for some reason know that Alharbi could have had nothing to do with the bombings, but that does not explain the behavior of most of the media which has been overly protective of the government and has either ignored, misrepresented or fudged the no-fly disclosure.
Napolitano, without denying the authenticity of Beck's document, said Beck had got his Alharbi mixed up with another one who had come to Homeland Security's attention. But if so, both Alharbis entered the United States on student visas and both are 20 years old.
Here is a copy of the undisputed document:

A good wrapup of the Alharbi affair
Here is a good wrapup of the Alharbi affair by a New York journalist, Arnold Ahlert.
Ahlert is a former NY Post op-ed columnist currently contributing to JewishWorldReview.com, HumanEvents.com and CanadaFreePress.com.

I agree with Ahlert's contention that "while many on the left are ridiculing Beck’s efforts, it is difficult to dismiss the possibility that some kind of deception is being perpetrated by the Obama administration. As the rest of the media remain silent, Beck continues to release almost daily a slew of troubling revelations backed by solid evidence."
In the past, I have expressed strong reservations about the machinations of arch Israelophiles. No doubt Ahlert has an ax to grind. Yet, it is usually the case that it is the opposition that is motivated to "let the chips fall where they may."

WHEN WAS THE SAUDI PUT ON THE NO-FLY LIST?
Many of those commenting on Glenn Beck's disclosures seem to be excessively eager to accept the government's version of events. I am trying to be neutral on this.
So what we have is that the Saudi nabbed fleeing the bombing scene was "in the system" on a no-fly list for a previous undisclosed incident, according to Beck's accusation. The government, according to Beck's highly classified document, then moved to have the man deported very quickly. Beck says he has evidence of tampering indicating an attempt to delete some material.
The government's position is that the Saudi was placed on the no-fly list after he was apprehended and, I suppose, that the serious incident refers to the Boston bombings. And, we are led to believe that the deportation order was a bureaucratic maneuver that gave the government grounds to hold him (as if the feds didn't already have grounds).
Beck also noted that the Saudi seems to have been a floater, who had violated terms of his student visa (not an unusual behavior of young visitors).

Reporter confirms Beck charge:
seized Saudi was on no-fly list
Fox News' Bret Baier aired a video blog detailing the dossier on the Saudi national seized in Boston, breaking down the claims surrounding Rahman Ali Alharbi. Baier said federal officials wanted to do their “due diligence” and added Alharbi to the no-fly list because they wanted to interview him, but added that this fact didn't necessarily mean Alharbi was known to be a terrorist.
http://www.ibtimes.com/glenn-becks-saudi-national-conspiracy-evidence-credible-1217699
Glenn Beck, who evidently had access to the same dossier, charged that Alhrabi was "in the system" as a terror suspect at the time of his arrest. Initially, Beck said, the administration was going to deport him quickly, but political pressure forced that decision to be put on hold.
Beck said the material in his possession showed that someone had tried to delete much of the data.

WHO PLANTED THE THIRD BOMB?
A "controlled explosion" was announced an hour after two bombs went off at the Boston Marathon finish line within a second of each other. However, authorities later waved off the incident as the result of an apparent electrical fire.
ABC News reported that an explosion was heard at 3:55 p.m., a minute after a Boston Globe Tweet announcing that the explosion was imminent.
https://twitter.com/BostonGlobe/status/323886879453892609
If indeed the bomb squad did set off a third device, questions arise, questions that the press does not appear to have addressed:
Why did that bomb not go off? Was its timer or cell phone link bad?
Did authorities discover a black backpack and decide to clear the area and electronically, or otherwise, trigger it?
Who planted the bomb? The two fatal bombs were reportedly carried to the scene in backpacks worn by each brother. Perhaps that device was dropped off by the brothers in a separate trip. But this is a question that should be examined.
Instead what we have is cursory media coverage and a statement that the third explosion was simply the result of an unrelated electrical fire. The source of that statement may have been unaware of the Globe's Tweet announcing an explosion.

4:55 p.m. ET: There was also a controlled explosion on Boylston St., not one of the three incidents, says Commissioner Ed Davis. [According to a Davis Tweet, there was to be a "controlled explosion" on Charles Street.
https://twitter.com/EdDavis3/ status/325202640864681984 That Tweet carries a time and date of "4:02 AM - 19 Apr 13," which apparently does not accord with events.]
[We note that it seems likely the Globe "controlled explosion" Tweet occurred at 3:54 p.m., there being a three-hour time difference between Twitter's headquarters in California and Boston. (At first, I assumed 2:54 p.m. for the Tweet, but that is a questionable assumption.)]
The Tweet said the explosion was to occur across from the library, but then apparently there was backtracking alleging an electrical fire at the library.
Media coverage of these (this?) event remains scanty.
Here's the ABC timeline I found on the second ABC link:
6:34 a.m. ET: ABC News has confirmed that at least 145 people are injured following the Boston Marathon attack and 17 of those are critical injuries.
6:15 a.m. ET: ABC News’ Boston affiliate WCVB reports the 8-year-old victim has been identified as Martin Richard. A single candle was placed in front of his home overnight in Dorchester, Mass.
1:30 a.m. ET: Teams of federal and local law enforcement agents searched an apparently vacant fifth floor apartment on Ocean Avenue in the Boston suburb of Revere just hours after a pair of bombings at the Boston Marathon, residents told ABC News.
12:47 a.m. ET: Sources tell ABC News authorities are looking for any friends and associates of the 20-year-old Saudi national.
12:07 a.m. ET: ABC News’ Aaron Katersky reports the working theory about the bombs, according ti Massachusetts law enforcement, is that they were small, crudely made devices hidden in bags or backpacks, planted either during the race or immediately prior and detonated remotely, possibly with a cell phone. Officials here have subpoenaed cellphone records.
11:50 p.m. ET: ABC News can confirm that one of the people law enforcement officials are talking to is a 20-year-old Saudi national at a Boston hospital. Sources tell ABC News that he is here legally on a student visa and that his visa is clean with no apparent criminal history.
Boston police tonight, at a news conference, said that there are people they are talking to, but no suspects.
10:35 p.m. ET: Ron M. Walls, chairman of Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, told reporters that the hospital has 29 total patients, 8 of whom are in critical condition. Walls said that the only shrapnel they have seen in injured victims is material from the street – bits of metal, soda cans and anything that was really close to a blast and became fragmented. He said there have been no reports of ball bearings or anything that seemed as if it may have been placed into the explosion to cause more damage.

9:27 p.m. ET: ABC News has revised its estimate of the total number of patients initially sent to hospitals to at least 133.
9:17: p.m. ET: Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis : “I offer my sympathies to the families impacted by this horrible tragedy. Those responsible will be brought to justice.”
8:56 p.m. ET: The Boston Police Department has said that it does not have a suspect in custody.
8:54 p.m. ET: Three people have died, according to a tweet from the Boston Police Department.
8:03 pm ET: At least 115 people injured in Boston Marathon bombing, according to law enforcement officials.
7:22 p.m. ET: An 8-year-old child is among those killed in the Boston bombings, a law enforcement source confirmed to ABC News.
6:41 p.m. ET: ABC News has revised its estimate of the number of people injured in the Boston Marathon bombing incident to at least 99 people.
6:29 p.m. ET: Boston hospitals report “multiple amputations” among those injured at Boston Marathon.
6:13 p.m. ET: “We will find out who did this and we will hold them accountable,” says President Obama.
6:12 p.m. ET: We do not know who did this or why… But make no mistake. We will get to the bottom of this,” says President Obama.
6:11 p.m. ET: “On days like this there are no Republicans and Democrats,” says President Obama.

FROM TERROR CRITICS?
CNN reports:
The surviving suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, has indicated to investigators that it was his brother, not any international terrorist group, who conceived the attack, a U.S. government source said.
The source said preliminary interviews with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev suggest the brothers were self-radicalized jihadists.
We comment:
Possibly so, but let's hope the feds retain a videotape of all Tsarnaev's statements.
This assertion may be part of a pattern of decoupling the Tsarnaev's from some intelligence operation gone awry. The administration "line" is that there is no evidence of a link to a terrorist organization. President Obama's decision to try Tsarnaev in civilian court sounds laudable, but the White House has declared that Tsarnaev is not an enemy combatant.
That is, the White House already "knows" that he was not part of a terror group, and this "knowledge" permits the administration to shield the CIA, FBI and Homeland Security, to some extent.
These actions are quite reminiscent of the behavior of the administration during the Benghazi affair. The propaganda deception in that case was orchestrated by John O. Brennan.
As an aside, we note that a CIA insider, former Director James Woolsey, is promoting the no-terror line.

RICIN PERIL ECHOES
ANTHRAX ATTACKS In a bizarre parallel to the 9/11-anthrax attacks, it is noteworthy that the ricin letters were disclosed a day after the Boston bombings. Perhaps it is coincidental that the germ warfare letters were apparently mailed shortly before the Boston horror. But, again, this is a point that deserves further examination.
Does anyone know whether it is rather easy to home brew ricin, one of the most feared of germ warfare poisons?
Note that charges were dropped against the original suspect -- though someone had gone to great lengths to frame him.
